Introduction:
- Discuss the importance of the Trinity as a foundational belief for Christians.
- Define key terms related to the Trinity, such as Godhead, essence, person, and substance.
Part 1: The Doctrine of the Trinity
- Read Matthew 28:19 and discuss the command to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Read 2 Corinthians 13:14 and discuss the blessing that comes from the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
- Discuss how the doctrine of the Trinity affirms that there is one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons.
Part 2: God the Father
- Read John 1:1-2 and discuss the relationship between God the Father and the Word (Jesus).
- Read Romans 8:15-17 and discuss how we are adopted as children of God through the Father’s love and grace.
- Discuss how God the Father is the source of all creation and the one who sustains all things.
Part 3: God the Son
- Read Colossians 1:15-20 and discuss the supremacy of Christ as the image of the invisible God and the reconciler of all things.

Part 4: God the Holy Spirit
- Read John 14:15-17 and discuss how the Holy Spirit is our advocate and guide.
- Read Acts 2:1-4 and discuss the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and its role in empowering the early church.
- Discuss how the Holy Spirit is a distinct person of the Trinity and how it works in our lives today.
